Bargemusic

Since 1977, Bargemusic has presented chamber music on a floating barge at the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge. Both established and emerging musicians perform at Bargemusic on a small stage with the dramatic backdrop of the East River and lower Manhattan skyline.

I designed a template for Bargemusic’s calendar of events and produced their seasonal calendar from 1997 until 2003, working closely with the organization’s founder, Olga Bloom, and an ace team of program coordinators. Sadly, Olga died in 2011 but Bargemusic’s extraordinary programming continues under the leadership of Artistic Director Mark Peskanov.
