Welcome to Red+Company

We’re a Brooklyn-based design studio with over 20 years experience designing websites, book covers, annual reports, branding and identity, and more. We were Stefan Killen Design, but now we are Red+Company. Tell us how we can help you.

Communication Design

We have an endless enthusiasm and unerring eye for simple, clear design. We live for clarifying the complexities of a new project and distilling its message down to the essentials. Whether on a website or a book cover, we believe less is usually more.

We Work for You

Our clients are publishers, multinational corporations, and nonprofits, small business owners, filmmakers, and singers. We pride ourselves on the lasting relationships we build with our clients, some of whom we’ve worked with for as long as we’ve been in business.

The Work We Do

We design websites, book covers, and annual reports, but also consult on creative direction, create brand strategies, and write content. We are guided and motivated by a commitment to clarity and clean, simple design.

Web Design + Development

We’ve designed websites for small business owners, multinational corporations, and the US Navy. We design and build from the ground up when necessary, but don’t hesitate to use WordPress or Squarespace when they are the better solution.

Print Communications

We’ve designed Annual Reports and a wide variety of print collateral, including Catalogs, Brochures, Newsletters, Posters, and Postcards.

Books and catalogs

We’ve designed over 1,000 book covers for publishers around the country, on subjects ranging from religion, spirituality, and self-help to history, military studies, and political science.

Writing + Editing

Clear writing and ruthless editing are essential to good communication design. We’ve written copy for websites, social media, print collateral, and video scripts.

Branding + Identities

Your brand needs to be consistent across platforms, and we’ll make that happen. But that doesn’t necessarily mean you need a complicated logo.

Creative Direction

Tying it all together, whether it’s an annual report, a marketing brochure, or a website, is our eye for strong, clear, and engaging creative direction that speaks to your audience.
