Johnson Lowe Gallery
Last spring I was hired to design an exhibition catalog for the Johnson Lowe Gallery in Atlanta, Georgia. The catalog was to accompany the first posthumous exhibition of the prolific artist Todd Murphy (1962 - 2020) and would include sculpture, photography, and mixed media from Murphy’s Wink series (2010-2019), along with essays by cultural critics Seph Rodney and Peter Frank.
David Rathbone
I've been eagerly awaiting my finished copy of fine art photographer David Rathbone’s photo book Big Water, which was just printed. David and I collaborated on the design, sequencing, and production of his book of 40 gorgeous medium-format black-and-white images.
Mark Fuller
I recently completed a barter with the enormously talented Pacific Northwest artist Mark Fuller: one of his gorgeous paintings in exchange for a simple website, a small catalog of his recent work, and some social media writing to help promote the website.
Continuum Publishing
The Continuum Publishing Company commissioned me to design this coffee-table art book, The Religious Art of Andy Warhol. The remarkable book, written by art historian and curator Jane Dillenberger, documents Warhol’s surprising lifelong interest in the Catholic Church as well as his exploration of existential spiritual topics.
Pinhole New York
I’ve been taking pinhole photographs of the New York City area since I moved here in 1991. More recently I’ve also been taking portraits of friends, neighbors, artists, and children wearing masks.
Sophie Gamand
I was honored and thrilled to work with the award-winning photographer Sophie Gamand on the design of her coffee table book Pit Bull Flower Power. Her photos of pit bull rescues are gorgeous, sweet, and touching, but are also helping change our perception of these dogs — AND are getting them adopted from shelters around the country.
Jim Olson
Jim Olson is an extraordinary contemporary artist whose sculptural work is guided by his readings in philosophy. Educated at Yale, and part of the New York art world for over 30 years, Olson recently asked me to produce a catalog of his early sculptural work from the 1970s and 1980s.
